About ATUM
An independent consultant for dust control and land rehabilitation
ATUM is run by one consultant working with mining, civil, energy and defence sites across Australia. I assess what a site's dust or rehabilitation conditions actually require, plan a method that fits, and where you want it, arrange and oversee the delivery. The focus is small to medium projects that larger contractors are not set up to price well and that too often get a product sold to them instead of a plan.
Why ATUM exists
Too much of this work goes unchecked
I have watched plenty of dust suppression and rehabilitation projects delivered by contractors where corners were cut and the results were poor. The site paid, the condition was not met, and nobody was held to account because nobody independent had set out what good looked like or checked whether it was delivered.
That is the gap ATUM fills. An independent review from someone who works in this industry and knows what the methods should achieve: assessing the site, putting the recommendation and specification in writing, reviewing the work that is done, and making contractors accountable for their results.
If you already have a contractor, I can review their work. If you are about to engage one, I can set the specification they price against. If you want the whole thing arranged and overseen, I can do that too.

Assess before I recommend
Surface, traffic, exposure, slope and the conditions you have to meet all change the right answer. I look first, then recommend.
Independent of product
I am not tied to a supplier. If the honest answer is a cheaper product, a smaller area, or waiting for a better season, that is the recommendation.
Say what to expect
Treatment longevity and vegetation establishment depend on conditions. I set realistic expectations up front rather than promising a number.

I travel to site anywhere in Australia, and for simple sites a remote review of plans, photos and conditions is often enough to start. Office location and contact details are being finalised for publication. In the meantime, the enquiry form is the quickest way to reach me.
